We are involved in the steel and iron business, which means our site is usually quite loud and busy. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a nice suit. There is a lot of dust and the sound of heavy materials being moved around. We have a basic office on-site where we keep all the paperwork for the Ispat limited company. Most of the guys here are from the local villages nearby. We have been working in this area for several years. The weather in Orissa can be quite extreme, either very hot or very rainy, so we just work around it. We don't have a website with fancy photos. Our business is mostly done through phone calls and people coming to the site to see the materials for themselves. We have a big yard where everything is stored. It’s a very hands-on type of environment. We focus on the loading and unloading and making sure the trucks get out on time. It is hard work, but we are used to the rhythm of the place. We just try to keep things simple and get the orders processed without too much fuss. It's an honest day's work and we've built some good relationships with the locals over the years.
