Bhusan Steels Ltd. Our place is in Talcher Town, which is in the Angul district. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always noise and movement. We are specifically located at Brahman Sasan. It’s easy to find if you know the landmark of the post office. The air here usually smells like coal or metal because of all the plants nearby. We spend our mornings checking the arrivals and making sure the paperwork for the steel is right. It gets really busy during the middle of the week. My desk is usually covered in notebooks and tea cups. We have a small staff and everyone knows their job. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is delayed. The building isn't brand new, it has some cracks in the walls and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound, but it keeps us cool enough. We like being in Talcher because everything we need is right here. The local markets are close by for lunch. We don’t have a website or anything like that, we just talk to people face to face or over the phone. Most of our neighbors are doing similar work. We share a lot of the same challenges with the local roads and the rainy season. It's a simple life working with steel. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way. It is how we have always done it.
