Vivekanand Gurukul

We've been here in Dharwad for a while now, right near the Hanuman Temple. It's easy to find us if you're coming from the Bus Depo Circle. Most people just walk over from Savadatti Road. We started Vivekanand Gurukul because we saw a need in Mrutyanjayanagar for a place where kids can actually sit down and learn things properly. It’s not a fancy building or anything, just a regular space where we do our work every day. Usually, the mornings are busy with students coming in before their regular classes. We keep things pretty simple here. There’s no big office or front desk staff, just us and the students. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when everyone is talking at once, but that's how it goes in a learning place. We try to help out as much as we can with the subjects they find hard. The weather in Dharwad is usually nice, so we keep the windows open. You’ll see the temple just a few steps away. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. People mostly find out about us by asking their neighbors or seeing us when they go to the market. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time. We just open up early, get the benches ready, and wait for the kids to show up. It's been a few years and we’re still at it. It is just a part of our daily life now.
