N L E Societys Rb Patils Rotary College is located in Priyadarshini Colony, right on Gokul Road in Hubli. It’s a familiar landmark for those living in this part of the city. The college building is a standard multi-story structure with wide corridors and regular classrooms. We have been operating here for years, catering to students from Hubli and the surrounding villages. The atmosphere is generally quiet during lecture hours, though the canteen area gets pretty lively during the breaks. Students come here for their degree courses, and you see them carrying heaps of notes or sitting under the trees on campus discussing their subjects. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. The labs have the necessary equipment for the science students, and the library is stocked with the usual textbooks and reference materials. Most of the staff have been here a long time and they know the students by name. It’s the kind of place where you just come to get your education and move on to your next step in life. The gates open early and the security guard knows most of the faces coming in and out. We deal with the heat in the summer and the rains, just like everyone else in Hubli. It’s a practical, local institution that has become a staple of the Priyadarshini Colony neighborhood over the decades. Nothing more, nothing less.
