We are situated out on Kyarakoppa Road, just a bit away from the main part of Dharwar. Being a bit further out means it’s a little quieter than the city center, though the road still gets its share of tractors and buses. The campus is where we spend most of our lives. It’s a big space with plenty of room for the students to move around. The buildings have that standard look you see in these types of schools. We have dorms and classrooms and a big kitchen that stays busy all day long. The air is a bit fresher here because of all the open ground. Teachers and staff mostly live right on the site, so we are like one big family, for better or worse. You get used to the routine of the bells and the morning assemblies. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a while for it to come back, but we just carry on with the books. There is always some maintenance work going on, like fixing a leaky tap or painting a fence. It’s a practical place, not a luxury one. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the kids have what they need for their exams. Dharwar is a good place to be, and our spot on the road feels like a little world of its own. We don't need any big talk to explain what we are.
