International Montessori School

You can find us at 1st Cross in Gandhinagar, right here in Dharwad. It is a quiet little corner compared to the busier parts of town. We handle younger kids here mostly. The building is an older one, but it works for what we need. Since it’s a Montessori setup, the rooms look a bit different than a normal school. There are lots of wooden toys and low shelves so the little ones can reach things themselves. It can get pretty noisy when twenty kids are all doing different things at once, but that’s just how it is. Our teachers have been with us for years. They know most of the parents by name and which kid is likely to lose their water bottle by noon. We don't have a giant playground, but there's enough space for them to run around and get some air. Dharwad has nice weather, so we try to let them play outside as much as the schedule allows. The morning drop-off is always a bit of a mess with scooters and cars in the lane, but we manage to get everyone inside eventually. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or big posters. We just focus on keeping the kids safe and busy with their activities. It feels more like a big family house than a school sometimes, which seems to suit the neighborhood just fine for now.
