Hotel Woodside

Hotel Woodside is up on the first floor of the Diamond Corner building in Deshpandenagar. We are right across from the Sawai Gandharva Hall in Hubli 580029. It’s a good location because there is always something happening at the hall. You have to take the stairs to reach us since we are on the first floor. We’ve had this hotel for a few years now. It’s not a very big place, just a handful of rooms. We don't have a fancy lobby or a big sign outside. The building itself, Diamond Corner, is where we spend all our time. We do all the work ourselves, from scrubbing the floors to checking in the guests. It’s hard work and the days are long. Sometimes the rooms feel a bit small, but they are alright for a night or two. We don't offer much else besides a place to sleep. The neighborhood is busy, especially when there are shows across the street. We hear the crowds and the music from the hall, which can be nice. We don't use any professional marketing or anything. People mostly find us by walking past or hearing about us from others. It’s just a simple, local business in Hubli. We try to keep the place decent for whoever stays with us. There is a lot of traffic on the street below, but we have gotten used to the sound now.
