Hotel National Darbar

We are situated right on Station Road in Hubli. If you’ve been to Hubli, you know how much activity happens around the railway station. We are just opposite Prakash Restaurant, which is a bit of a landmark for people trying to find us. The road is always dusty and full of rickshaws. We started this place because it seemed like a good spot for travelers who just stepped off a train and needed a bed for the night. It is a no-frills setup. We have a few staff members who have been with us for a long time, so they know how everything works. We don't really do big advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth usually brings people in. The building is a standard size, nothing too large. We spend our mornings cleaning up and getting ready for the next set of people. Sometimes the station announcements are so loud you can hear them if you stand outside. It’s a very busy life here. Hubli is a junction city, so people are always moving through. We give people a place to sit down and rest for a bit. We don't have fancy lobbies or anything, just a desk and the rooms. It’s honest work and we try to do it right. The plumbing can be a headache sometimes, but we fix things as they break. It’s just a regular hotel for regular people who want something simple.
