Gokul Hotel

Gokul Hotel is located right on Gokul Road in Hubli. We are sitting directly opposite the New Bus Stand, which means we get a lot of people coming in who have just traveled a long way. The area is always noisy with buses pulling in and out at all hours. We have simple rooms for people who just need a place to sleep for a night or two. It is not a luxury place, just a basic hotel with the things you need like a bed and a fan. We see a lot of salesmen and people traveling for work. My father started this place, and now we just keep it going day by day. The lobby is small and we usually have the news running on a small TV near the desk. Sometimes the water pressure isn't the best, or a lightbulb goes out, and we have to run up and fix it. We try to keep the sheets clean and the rooms aired out. It is a lot of work staying on top of the cleaning when people are coming and going so much. Hubli can get quite hot, so the afternoons are usually quiet while everyone is resting. Being near the bus stand is good for business, but it means we never really have a quiet moment. We just offer a room and a bit of rest for anyone passing through the 580030 area.
