Hotel Moon Light

You can find us on Station Road in Hubli, very close to the railway station. It is a convenient spot because people can just walk over after their train gets in. We have been running this hotel for a while now. It is a busy area with a lot of noise from the trains and the buses, but that is the trade-off for being so close to transport. The building isn't new, so we have to stay on top of maintenance every single day. One day it is a fan that stopped, the next it is a lightbulb that needs changing. We do most of the work ourselves. The lobby is small and we usually have the news playing on a small TV near the desk. We get a lot of workers and travelers who just need a place to crash for a few hours or a night. It is not the kind of place with fancy rugs or room service menus, but we have clean sheets and pillows. My cousin helps me with the night shift sometimes when I am tired. We know the tea stalls nearby that stay open late, which helps when guests arrive on the midnight train. It is a simple life running a lodge here. We do not have big meetings about goals, we just try to make sure everyone who pays for a room gets a decent sleep. That is what matters most on Station Road.
