Hotel Moonlight

Our hotel is right there on Station Road in Hubli, just a short walk from the railway station. It is a handy place to stay if you are coming in on a late train or leaving early in the morning. We have kept this place going for years, through all the changes on this street. The rooms are straightforward with beds, a table, and a bathroom. We do not go in for fancy decorations because we think people just want a clean space to rest. Being near the station means there is always something happening outside, plenty of rickshaws and vendors shouting. Inside, we try to keep it a bit more relaxed. I spend a lot of my time making sure the water tanks are full and the hallways are swept. It is hard work and the dust from the road never seems to stop coming in. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who handle the keys and the cleaning. Sometimes we run out of towels if the laundry is late, but we manage. Most of our guests are regulars who come to Hubli for business and need a familiar face. We do not have a restaurant, but there are plenty of places to eat just outside our front door. It is a basic, honest setup for anyone needing a room near the tracks. We just do our work and go home.
