Aryabhata Pre-University Science College

You can find our college on Kalaghatagi Road in the Girinagar part of Dharwad, near Hubli. It’s a busy road, so there’s always something happening outside. We focus on science here, so you’ll see students carrying big textbooks and talking about their labs. The building is pretty straightforward. We have classrooms and some lab spaces where the students spend a lot of their time. It’s not a place with a lot of bells and whistles. We just provide the space for them to study. The staff spends their time keeping the schedules on track and making sure the labs are ready. Hubli can get pretty warm, so we try to keep the rooms as comfortable as we can. Students come from different parts of the city, taking the bus or riding their bikes. We see them hanging out near the gate during lunch breaks. It’s a serious kind of place because the students are working toward their university entrance, but we still have a laugh now and then in the office. We deal with the usual stuff like broken fans or missing supplies. It’s a practical, working college. Nothing too fancy, just a place where people come to get their science studies done. We’ve been here for a while and the locals know us well enough. It’s just a part of the Girinagar neighborhood, sitting right there on the road, doing what we always do.
