Our place, Wood Crafts, is located at Plot No-C-81 on Street No-8 in North Gonda. It’s a bit of a small shop, but we’ve managed to fit all our benches and saws inside over the years. We mostly do basic woodworking for people who live nearby. It isn't anything fancy. There is always sawdust in the air and on our clothes. We try to keep things organized, but when you have several projects going at once, the space gets crowded fast. We get our wood from a few different places, and some of it is better than others. You have to look at the grain and check for cracks before you start cutting. We don’t use any high-tech machines, just the stuff we’ve had for a long time. My hands are usually a bit rough from the work, but I don't mind it much. The street outside can get a bit loud with people going about their day, but we just stay focused on what’s on the bench. We aren't trying to change the world or anything. We just like making things that are solid and useful. Sometimes a piece of wood doesn't want to cooperate, and you have to start over. That can be frustrating, but it’s part of the process. We close up in the evening and head home like everyone else. It’s just a regular local business doing what we know. We hope to stay on Street No-8 for a long time.
