Small Handicrafts

Our business is called Small Handicrafts, and that’s exactly what we are. We operate out of Plot No. 327 on Street No. 10 in Bhagirathi Vihar. It’s a modest place, nothing like the big factories you see. We’ve got a small room where we do all our work. It’s often a bit of a mess with scraps of material and tools scattered about, but that’s just part of the process. We’ve been in this spot for a few years now. The neighbors know us, and we know them. It’s a quiet enough street, though the occasional delivery truck makes a bit of noise. We don’t have a website or any big ads. Most people find us by just walking by or through word of mouth. We focus on making small items, things that people can use in their homes. It takes a lot of patience to get things right, and sometimes we have to start over if a piece doesn’t look quite right. We’re not looking to become a giant company; we just want to keep making our crafts and making enough to keep the lights on. Every day is pretty much the same—we wake up, open the shop, and get to work. It’s a slow pace of life, but we like it that way. There’s something nice about seeing a finished item that you made yourself from scratch. We just keep doing what we know.
