Saidul Handicrafts

Saidul Handicrafts is located at Plot No. P-149, right near Zakir Husain Delhi College and the Ramleela Ground by Ajmeri Gate. It’s a very central spot, so there’s always something happening outside. You can hear the sounds of the city all day long. We’ve been here for quite a while, and our shop has become a bit of a staple in this corner. It’s a small space, packed with all sorts of handmade goods. We don’t have a lot of room to move around, so we have to be very organized with our stock. We spend most of our time working on new pieces or talking to the people who come in. Many of our visitors are students from the college or people attending events at the Ramleela Ground. We don’t use any high-tech gadgets or complicated systems. We just write things down in a ledger and keep track of our work that way. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. Sometimes it gets a bit hot and stuffy inside, especially in the summer, but we keep the fans going and carry on. We don’t put on any airs; we’re just regular people making handicrafts. We’re proud of the work we do, even if it’s just a small shop in a busy part of Delhi. It’s a lot of hard work, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep our heads down.
