Vth Events / Vinayak Tent House

We are over here at Shop No 18 in the New Khanna Market, right by Lodhi Road. If you know the area, it is quite close to Nehru Stadium, so there is always something going on nearby with traffic and people moving around. Most days at Vinayak Tent House, or Vth Events as we sometimes go by, it is just a lot of moving parts. We spend a good amount of time checking on our tent materials, making sure the fabric is clean and the poles are sturdy for the next job. It gets pretty dusty in the market, so there is always a lot of cleaning and folding to do. When a busy season comes around, things get pretty hectic in this little corner of Delhi. The phones start ringing more and we are constantly loading up trucks with chairs and decorations. It is hard work, mostly physical stuff like hauling heavy bundles of cloth or stacking iron frames that we use for the setups. Sometimes we are working late into the evening under the shop lights just to get everything ready for a morning function. People from the neighborhood stop by to ask about dates or just to see what we have in stock for their family events. It is not a fancy office, just a practical space where we keep all our supplies. You might see us sitting outside when it is a bit quieter, having tea and watching the buses go towards the stadium. We have been in this spot for a while now.
