True Value International

Out in Patparganj at Plot No 245, you’ll find our unit inside the industrial estate. It’s a big area with lots of similar-looking buildings, so you have to keep an eye out for the number. True Value International is run from this spot. It’s a mix of a small office and a bit of storage space. The walls are painted a dull white and there are stacks of papers everywhere. We do a lot of international-related work, mostly paperwork and making sure shipments are lined up. It’s not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The industrial estate can get quite congested in the mornings with all the workers coming in. Our unit at Plot No 245 is nothing special to look at, just a functional space where we can sit and work. There’s a small desk near the front where we keep the ledger and the phone. It rings quite a bit. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; it’s just us handling the day-to-day. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight. We’ve been at this location for a while now and have gotten used to the rhythm of the estate. It’s a practical place for a business like ours. We just do our thing and go home. Sometimes the street dogs hang out near the entrance of Plot No 245, and we give them a bit of biscuit.
