Sangam Vihar can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. Our place at H-16/240 is right in the middle of all that activity. We do exhibitions, which basically means a lot of heavy lifting and hauling stuff around in trucks across New Delhi 62. It's dusty and noisy work most of the time. We spend more time at actual event sites than we do in this office, but this is where the planning happens. There’s always a pile of old banners or metal poles tucked into a corner somewhere. We’ve been at it for a while now. The team is small, just a few of us who don't mind getting our hands dirty or staying late to finish a booth. It’s not like those big corporate events you see on TV where everything is perfect from the start. Behind the scenes, it’s a lot of sweating and fixing things with tape or zip ties at the last minute. The office is just a base. We have a couple of old desks and a printer that jams whenever we are in a real hurry. You won't find any marble floors here. Just a lot of work orders and phone calls to vendors. We try to keep things organized, but when you have three shows in one week, things get messy. It’s just the nature of the exhibition business. We take the work as it comes and try to get home eventually.
