Our office is over at 1C/1 Jia Sarai, which is right near IIT in the Hauz Khas area of New Delhi. It is a very busy neighborhood with students everywhere and lots of small shops. Being so close to the institute means there is always energy on the street. Our space is on the ground level, so we see people walking by all day. We do a lot of event work, so there are usually bits of stage equipment or lighting cables tucked into the corners. It is not a very big office, but we make it work. The walls are a bit plain and the furniture is just whatever we could find that was sturdy. We spend a lot of time planning out how to set up screens and sound systems for different venues. It is often dusty because of the construction nearby, so we are always wiping down the desks. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we do not need to say much to get things done. We grab tea from the stall just down the road and bring it back in glass cups. It is a simple operation here in Jia Sarai. We do not have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just some people, a few computers, and a lot of gear that needs to be moved around. We just focus on the job and hope the traffic is not too bad.
