The Entertainment Design Co.

Our office is at 55 Anand Lok in New Delhi. It’s a fairly quiet residential neighborhood, which is nice because it’s a bit of a break from the usual noise of the city. We’ve been based in this building for a while now, and it’s where we do all our design work. The setup is quite straightforward. We have a few rooms dedicated to different parts of the design process. It’s not a flashy studio with lights and cameras; it’s more of a workshop where we sit and think through ideas. Most of the time, we are surrounded by samples of paper, fabrics, and sketches. We like the fact that it feels like a real home office. There’s a small garden out front that we sometimes use when we need a bit of fresh air. We don't really have a big staff, so it’s usually just a few of us working away. We don't do much in the way of marketing ourselves; we just let the work we do speak for itself. People come to us when they need something specific designed, and we sit down and figure it out with them. It’s a very personal way of doing things. We don't have a rigid schedule or a corporate dress code. We just show up and get to work. It’s a peaceful spot to be creative and we really enjoy the neighborhood. We’ve been here for years and hope to stay for many more to come. It just feels right for us.
