Our office is situated at 161, Arunodaya Apartments in the F Block of Vikaspuri, New Delhi. Being in an apartment complex makes our workplace feel a bit more like a home than a stiff office. It’s a busy part of West Delhi, but once you get inside the gates of the apartments, it’s a little more peaceful. We have our rooms set up for social service work, so there’s always a lot of activity. You’ll see people coming in to discuss projects or drop off documents. It’s a ground-floor or low-level unit, so it’s easy for people to find us. We’ve got desks pushed against the walls and plenty of chairs for visitors. The shelves are packed with files and reports from all the work we do. It’s not the kind of place where everything is polished and shiny. The paint might be a bit old in some spots, and the furniture has definitely seen some use over the years. We’re focused on the service part of what we do, so the appearance of the office isn't our main concern. Vikaspuri-110018 is a good community to be part of. We see the same neighbors every day and know the local rickshaw drivers. It’s a very human environment. We just keep our doors open and try to handle the tasks that come our way, one day at a time, right here in F Block. We've been here for a while and it works.
