Sr. Media Planner & Buyer

Being located in Jaiprakash Nagar, specifically on Street Number 3 in Ghonda, puts us right in the thick of things in North East Delhi. The office at 22/5 is a pretty modest place. It is basically a space where we sit and figure out where to spend money on ads for people. Media planning sounds like a big title, but mostly it is just looking at spreadsheets and making a lot of calls to get the right rates. The street outside can get quite narrow and loud with all the rickshaws and people moving about. We have been here for some time now, and everyone around knows who we are. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits every day. We usually just wear whatever is comfortable and get to work. Buying ad space is a lot of haggling and timing, and doing it from this part of Delhi keeps us grounded. The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear the neighbors sometimes, but it’s a good neighborhood to be in. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the ropes. Most of our day is spent negotiating or checking if the ads actually ran where they were supposed to. It’s straightforward work that requires a lot of patience and a good internet connection.
