Our place is House 86 in Sector-35, Ashoka Enclave-III. It’s in Faridabad. We aren't in a commercial park or a mall. We work out of this house. It makes the whole event planning business feel a bit more personal. Spotlight Events & Entertainment is just a small group of us who like putting shows and parties together. It’s a lot of phone calls and list-making. We spend most of our time coordinating with vendors and making sure the lights show up on time. Faridabad is a bit quieter than Delhi, which is nice. We have enough space here to store some of our gear. It gets messy sometimes with boxes and cables lying around. We don't have a polished corporate image. If you came over, you’d probably see us in old clothes, drinking chai and arguing about a floor plan. We’ve done all sorts of events. Some are big, some are just small family things. We don't really mind as long as the job gets done. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to make sure the events we handle don't fall apart. It’s a lot of hard work behind the scenes that nobody ever sees. We are just regular people who happened to get into the entertainment business. It keeps us busy and it’s never the same two days in a row. Sometimes the house feels too small, but it is home for the business.
