Our place is at K-31, Batla House, in the Okhla area of New Delhi. It’s a very lively part of the city, especially with the university nearby and all the small shops. At Spar Solutions Marchandising Pvt Ltd, we deal with a lot of physical stock and display items. Our office often looks more like a warehouse because we have boxes stacked up in the corners and samples lying around on the tables. It gets a bit tight when a new shipment comes in, and we all have to help move things around. We don't really have a fancy layout; we just put desks where they fit. The electricity can be a bit hit or miss in this part of Okhla, so we’ve learned to save our work often. We’re just a small team of people who know each other well. We eat lunch together and complain about the heat in the summer. It’s a very grounded way of working. There are no big speeches or complicated mission statements here. We just check the inventory, talk to the vendors, and make sure the merchandising looks the way it’s supposed to. It’s hard work and it can be tiring, but we’ve built a decent rhythm over the years. We’re part of the neighborhood, and you’ll often find us grabbing a quick bite at the stalls nearby when things get too busy. It's a simple life and it keeps us busy.
