Sound Of Music

Our business, Sound Of Music, is tucked away in Katwaria Sarai, which is part of the Hauz Khas area in New Delhi. We are located at F-4, and the space belongs to Om Prakash Sansanwal. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of narrow lanes and people moving about constantly. Inside our place, it’s all about the sound. We have equipment scattered around, and sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to breathe, but we make it work. It’s a humble setup, nothing like those high-end studios you might see on television. We deal with music and audio in a very practical, everyday way. Whether it’s fixing something or setting up for a local gig, we just handle it. Being in Katwaria Sarai means we are close to the heart of the city’s culture, which is helpful. The office is often a bit noisy, both from the music we are working on and the life happening right outside our door. We don't have a fancy website or a big PR team. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just walking past and hearing the noise. It’s a family-style environment where everyone knows Om Prakash and the rest of the crew. We just love music and enjoy being part of the local scene here in Delhi.
