Sound & Light Professionals

Sound & Light Professionals is based in Ganga Niwas, over in Rameshwari Nehru Nagar. We’re at 7061/6 in the Karol Bagh area of New Delhi. It’s a crowded neighborhood, like most of Delhi, and the streets are always full of rickshaws and delivery bikes. Our place is tucked away in a narrow street. It's not the easiest place to bring big trucks into, which makes things interesting when we have gear coming or going. The building itself is pretty old and the stairs are a bit steep. We spend a lot of time checking equipment and making sure everything is in its place, though it usually ends up in a bit of a jumble by the end of the week. There’s a lot of dust because of the construction nearby, so we’re always wiping down the tables. We don’t have a big fancy office with a view. It’s mostly just storage and a few desks where we handle the paperwork. Sometimes the neighbors come by to complain about the noise if we’re testing something, so we try to keep it down. We eat our lunch at our desks most days. Karol Bagh is a hectic place to be, but we’re used to the pace. We just get on with the job and try not to get stuck in the traffic on the way home. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized in a small space, but we manage to stay on top of things somehow.
