Simply South Music

Simply South Music is tucked away in Nasirpur, Dwarka, right in Delhi 110045. We are on the 3rd floor, Flat-7, in Pocket 6/3. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens now and then. This isn't some high-tech recording studio you see on TV. It’s more of a home-grown operation. We’ve got stacks of music stuff everywhere—recordings, some old instruments in the corner, and a lot of wires. It’s definitely a space where work happens, not a place for showing off. We focus on South Indian music and everything that goes with it. The room usually smells a bit like old paper and tea. We spend our days listening to tracks, sorting through files, and making sure the music gets to where it needs to go. It’s a small space, so things can feel a bit crowded when more than three people are in. We’ve been in this part of Dwarka for a while and it suits us just fine. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s relatively quiet compared to the center of Delhi. We aren't doing anything fancy. We just like what we do and we do it from this small flat on the third floor. There’s usually some music playing softly in the background while we work, which makes the long hours a bit easier to handle. It is a humble place but it works.
