Roop Chand & Co.

Over here at K-24 in Model Town (II), Roop Chand & Co. has been a steady presence for a while. Model Town is a nice area, and we like being part of the neighborhood. Our building is nothing special to look at, just a regular place where we do our business. Inside, there are a few desks and some shelves that have seen better days. We don't have a lot of fancy technology; we still use a lot of paper and pens for our daily notes. It is a quiet operation for the most part. There are only a couple of us who run the place. We start the day with some tea and go over what needs to happen. It is not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits or talking about market shares. We are just regular people working a regular job. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other days it is pretty still. We’ve known some of our regulars for years, and they usually just stop by to say hello. Being at K-24 feels like home to us. We don't really have a big plan for expansion or anything like that. We just like keeping things the way they are. It’s a simple way to earn a living, and we appreciate the routine of it all. We just keep the door open and stay busy with the day's tasks. It works for us.
