Rama Steel Tubes Lyd.(Rama Group)

We have been here in Palam Village for quite a while now. If you know the area, Wz-156 is pretty easy to find once you get into the main lanes. Rama Steel Tubes is what most people call us, though the official paperwork says Rama Group. The yard gets really busy in the mornings when the trucks arrive with the new stock. You see a lot of steel pipes and tubes piled up everywhere. It is not a shiny office or anything like that. It is a working site. We spend most of our day talking to contractors or guys who need a few lengths of pipe for a local job. Sometimes the New Delhi heat makes the metal too hot to touch without thick gloves. Our staff mostly lives nearby, so there is a lot of local talk while we work. The floors are usually covered in a bit of metal dust. It is loud because of the cutting machines. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of chairs and a desk where the ledgers are kept. People stop by to ask for prices or just to see what we have in stock. It is a straightforward business. We just handle the steel and get it loaded onto the small tempos that navigate these narrow village streets. Every day is pretty much the same routine of measuring, cutting, and making sure the inventory matches the books. It can be exhausting but it is the job.
