Prime Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd operates out of a DDA flat, specifically D-177 in Pocket-3, over in the Bindrapur area of Uttamnagar. Being based in a residential flat means the office has a very lived-in feel to it. We have desks squeezed into the rooms and the walls are mostly covered with calendars and floor plans for different trade shows. Uttamnagar is a crowded part of New Delhi, and getting to the office can be a bit of a journey depending on the traffic. We deal with a lot of heavy equipment and display materials, so there is usually a lot of stuff being moved in and out of the building. It is not the most glamorous location, but it works for us and keeps our overhead low. The team is quite small, so we all know each other's habits and how we like our coffee. We spend our days coordinating with builders and making sure all the paperwork is in order for the exhibitions we help put together. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy in the flat when everyone is talking on their phones at once. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We don't really have a fancy front desk, so guests usually just walk straight into the main workspace. It is a practical way to run a business, and we prefer it that way. It keeps us focused on the job.
