Play Tv - Essel Group Venture, New Delhi

We are located at C14 Panchsheel Enclave in New Delhi, which is a fairly quiet residential area for the most part. This is where the Play Tv office is, being part of the Essel Group Venture. The building itself looks like a regular house from the outside, which we actually quite like. Inside, it’s a different story with all the editing bays and equipment tucked into different rooms. There is always someone running around with a hard drive or a tripod. It can get a bit cramped when we have a big project going on, but we manage. Being in Panchsheel Enclave means we aren't stuck in the middle of a massive commercial hub, so it's a bit easier to think. We don't have a big sign outside or anything too flashy. Most people who work here have been in the TV business for years, so we’ve seen it all. There’s no polished corporate vibe in these halls. Instead, you’ll find people in jeans worrying about deadlines or fixing a technical glitch. The kitchen always has a pot of tea going, and that's usually where most of our meetings actually happen. We just focus on getting the content ready and making sure everything is scheduled right. It’s a lot of work and long hours, especially during the weekends, but that’s just how the media world operates in Delhi these days.
