One Of The Media Organization

If you’ve ever been to Bazaar Sita Ram in Old Delhi, you know how busy it gets. Our spot is at 460, Gali Sheesh Mahal. It’s a very old part of the city with narrow lanes and a lot of history. One Of The Media Organization is just what we call ourselves. We work out of this old building where the walls are thick and the noise from the bazaar is always there in the background. You can hear rickshaws and people selling things all day long. It’s not like a modern media office with open floor plans and fancy coffee machines. We have desks tucked into corners and stacks of papers everywhere. Getting here can be a bit of a struggle if you aren't used to the crowds, but it’s got a certain charm to it. We deal with media stuff, whatever comes our way really. Sometimes we’re writing, sometimes we’re just organizing information. The tea stalls nearby are great, and we usually get a few rounds of chai throughout the day to keep us going. It’s a tight-knit area where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We’ve been in Gali Sheesh Mahal for quite some time now. We don't really do much advertising for ourselves because the work just keeps coming in. It’s a bit messy and loud, but it’s our space and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the bazaar outside our windows.
