New Jai Maa Tent House

If you head down to Labor Chauk on the Sector 58 Main Road in Noida, you will see our setup for New Jai Maa Tent House. We are right near Singhal Tower, which is a big landmark around here. Our yard is usually full of poles, folded up tents, and stacks of those plastic chairs you see at every party. It’s a lot of physical work moving this stuff around, especially when the sun is out in Noida. We have a team of guys who handle the loading and unloading of the trucks every day. Sometimes things get a bit messy with the ropes and the canvas sheets piled up, but we know where everything is. We have been working out of this spot for a long time now. People from the nearby sectors come to us when they have a wedding or a small function at home. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning; it’s mostly just a desk where we write down the dates and take the deposits. We try to make sure the tents are put up straight and the lights actually work before we leave the site. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy throughout the year. We deal with all kinds of weather, from the heavy rains that soak the fabric to the dust that gets into everything. We just keep going.
