Neighbourhood Flash Newspaper(Getit Infoservices Ltd.)

We are based at Plot No. 82A in Jangpura B, which is right near the Nizammudin Railway Station in New Delhi. Our main thing is the Neighbourhood Flash Newspaper, though we are part of Getit Infoservices Ltd. Being so close to the station means there is always a lot of movement and noise around us. It’s a lively place to work. We spend our time putting together the local paper, which involves a lot of writing, editing, and talking to people in the area. Our office is often filled with stacks of old newspapers and notes scribbled on bits of paper. It’s not the neatest place, but it’s where the work gets done. We have a few desks and some old computers that have seen better days. Jangpura is a great location because we are right in the middle of everything. We get to hear all the local news first-hand. It’s a lot of work to get each issue out, and sometimes we are working late into the night to meet a deadline. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a handful of us trying to keep the community informed. We've been in this spot for a while and we know the local chai wallahs and shopkeepers well. It’s a very local feel, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep writing and printing, hoping to share what is happening around the corner.
