About Multimedia Designer – Event & Planning in Delhi
I’m based in Sarojini Nagar. Most people come here for the big market and the cheap clothes, but I’m just tucked away in a quiet spot doing design work. It’s a one-person operation mostly, though sometimes I get help when a project gets too big. The space is small, just enough for a couple of monitors and a decent chair that doesn't hurt my back. I spend my days looking at colors and shapes on a screen. Sarojini can be so loud and crowded outside, but once I put my headphones on, I don't notice the noise much. I’ve been doing this for a few years now in New Delhi. I didn't want a big office in a tall building with a lift. This feels more real and connected to the city. My desk is usually covered in notes and empty tea cups by the end of the day. I don't have a receptionist or a lobby for people to wait in. If someone wants to see me, we usually just meet at a nearby cafe because it's easier for everyone. It’s a simple life. I take on projects that I can manage myself. Sometimes the deadlines are tight and I end up working until the early morning hours. New Delhi has a way of being both exhausting and inspiring at the same time. I don't do any big advertising. Word of mouth is enough. People just find me here.
