Mona Decor

Mona Decor is located in the Rajpur Khurd area of Chattarpur, at B-15. We aren't one of those high-end design studios you see in the magazines. Our shop is a local spot where we keep different materials and items for making a home look a bit better. The space is filled with rolls of cloth and various bits and pieces. It can look a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we know exactly where every scrap is kept. The light in the shop isn't great, so we often take things out to the doorway to see the true color in the sunlight. Rajpur Khurd is a growing place, and we see a lot of new faces moving in. We don't do much advertising; mostly it’s just people walking past and seeing what we have in the window. We spend our time measuring things out and talking to people about what they want to change in their houses. It is a slow pace of work compared to the city center. Sometimes we sit and have tea with a customer while we figure out a project. There are no fancy brochures or sales pitches here. We just show what we have on the shelves and let people decide. It’s a quiet way to run a business, and we like being part of the neighborhood. The cat from next door usually sleeps on the fabric scraps in the corner.
