Media India Group

Media India Group is basically run out of H.No. Ab-57 in Mianwali Nagar. It’s Sachin Sharma’s place. Working from a house in New Delhi makes things feel a bit more relaxed than a cold office building. We have the usual setup with computers and piles of magazines and notes. Mianwali Nagar is a residential area, so it’s mostly quiet except for the usual street noises. We do a lot of writing and reporting from here. Sometimes the dining table becomes a meeting desk. It’s a bit messy, to be honest. There are always books and papers stacked in corners. We don't have a reception desk or a sign out front. You just ring the bell like you’re visiting a friend. We spend our days talking to people over the phone or typing away at stories. It’s a small operation, but we cover a lot of ground. Sometimes we sit in the small garden out front when we need a break from the screens. We drink way too much coffee throughout the day. People in the neighborhood probably wonder why we are always on our laptops instead of going to a "real" office. But this works for us. We get to skip the long commute and focus on the media work we actually enjoy doing. It’s a simple life, just writing and staying busy in our little corner of Delhi. We have been here for a good few years now and it suits the way we like to work.
