Even though our name says New Delhi, this particular branch of Matrix Cellular Services is actually in Allahabad. We are located at 23/18, Ramanand Nagar, in the Allahapur area. It’s a residential neighborhood that’s quite busy during the day. Our office is a regular building on a street where everyone knows each other. We handle cellular services and related paperwork for people in this region. It is a straightforward job. People come in with questions about their connections or bills, and we try to sort it out. The office isn't very large. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets, and a bench for people to sit on while they wait. The walls are a bit plain and we don't have any fancy posters or branding. It is a very local operation. Most of the staff live nearby, so we walk or take a cycle to work. In the summers, it gets incredibly hot here, so we keep the fans going all day. We have a small kettle for tea and we often share snacks in the afternoon. It is not a high-pressure corporate environment. We just do our best to help the people who walk through the door. We’ve been in Ramanand Nagar for a while now and we feel like part of the community. It’s just a normal office doing a normal job every day without any big fuss.
