Makaan.Com (A People Group)

Our office is located at 117/9 in Kishan Garh, which is part of the Vasant Kunj area in New Delhi. It’s in a building known as Hari Singh. We are part of the People Group and we work on the Makaan.com side of things. Most of our day involves looking at property listings and talking to people about where they want to live. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking maps. Vasant Kunj is a nice part of the city, though the traffic near Kishan Garh can be a bit much in the mornings. We have a small team here that manages the local operations. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters with glass elevators. It’s more of a functional space where we can get the job done. We’ve been here for a while and know the area pretty well. We aren’t trying to sell you a dream or use big words. We just help with the practical stuff of finding a place to stay. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other days we’re just catching up on paperwork. It’s a regular job for us. We try to be helpful and honest about what’s actually available on the market. No marketing gimmicks, just people working in an office. We like the local food stalls nearby and the general vibe of the neighborhood. It’s a decent place to work and we just keep at it every day. We don't worry about sounding like a big corporation because we aren't one.
