If you go to Ajmeri Gate and look for Plot No. 4033 on the Main Road, you will find Maheshwari Trading Corporation. Being on the main road means we deal with a lot of noise and dust from the traffic all day long. The shop is usually packed with stock, sometimes right up to the door, making it hard to move around. We trade in a lot of different goods, and our day is mostly spent talking to transporters and checking manifests. The Ajmeri Gate area is one of the busiest parts of the city, and it feels like it never sleeps. We have been here for years, and the walls of our office are covered in old calendars and notes. It is a family-run kind of place, where you might see one of us eating lunch at the desk while answering the phone. We do not have a polished sales team. Instead, we have people who have been with us for decades and know every item we carry. The humidity in the summer can be tough, especially when we are unloading a fresh shipment. Sometimes the trucks arrive late, and we have to stay well past our closing time to get everything sorted. It is a chaotic way to work, but we are used to the pace.
