M P Goel Hardware (P) Ltd. is situated at Plot No. 3499 in Gali Bajrang Bali, right in the middle of Chawri Bazar. If you know Chawri Bazar, you know how narrow the lanes are and how busy it gets with the carts and the laborers moving goods. Our shop is full of all kinds of hardware items. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling filled with boxes of screws, hinges, and tools. It can be a bit hard to find things if you don't know exactly where to look, but we have a system that works for us. We have been in this location for many years. The building is old and the stairs are a bit steep. Most of our day is spent talking to contractors or locals who need specific parts for a repair. We deal with a lot of heavy metal items, so the floors are a bit worn out. There is always a lot of shouting and noise outside in the gali, but we are used to it by now. We usually have a cup of tea in the afternoon while we wait for the next customer to come in. We don't bother with fancy displays or marketing. People come to us because they know we have what they need in the stacks. It is a noisy, dusty, and busy way to spend the day, but it is our business.
