Madan Lal & Brothers

Madan Lal & Brothers is an old shop located at K-128/104 near the Delhi G P O. We are a family-run business and we have been in this same spot for a couple of generations now. The shop itself hasn't changed much over the years. We still have the same wooden counters and the shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. We sell a bit of everything that people in the neighborhood might need. It’s a very traditional way of doing things. We don't have a website or any social media. People just know us because we have been here for so long. The Delhi G P O area is always very loud and busy, but inside the shop, it feels a bit slower. We spend our days talking to customers and keeping track of our stock in large ledger books. We don't use computers at all. It might seem old-fashioned to some, but it works for us. My brothers and I take pride in just being here every day. We don't make any big claims about what we do. We just provide what we can to the people who stop by. K-128/104 is our home away from home. We've seen the city change a lot from our front door. We just keep doing what we know how to do, day after day. It is just a part of the history of this old street.
