Bajrang Hardware Store

Bajrang Hardware Store is situated at Plot No 1484 in Gali No 5, Wazir Nagar, right in the heart of Kotla Mubarakpur. Our shop is one of those places where you can find almost any small tool or screw if you look long enough. It is a tight space because we have packed the walls with bins and drawers full of hardware. Gali No 5 is a narrow street, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze when people are coming and going. We have been here for years, and the shop has that old-school feel with wooden counters and the smell of metal and oil. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that keep the air moving. We don't use a computer system for everything; a lot of our notes are still written down in ledgers or on scraps of paper. It might look a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we know exactly which drawer holds the brass hinges and which one has the galvanized nails. People from the neighborhood come in for all sorts of household repairs. We aren't interested in being a big chain store. We just like running our local shop in Wazir Nagar and talking to the people who live nearby. Most days are spent climbing ladders to reach the top shelves or helping someone find the right size bolt for a project they are working on at home. It gets dusty, but that’s just hardware for you.
