We’ve been here at shop number 304 in Mangol Puri for a long time now. It’s a busy spot in BC Block Phase 2. The industrial area is always loud and dusty, but that’s just how it is around here. We spend most of our days sorting through bins of screws, hinges, and basic tools. Sometimes someone comes in looking for a very specific size of bolt and it takes a while to find it in the back. The shelves are pretty packed and it isn't the cleanest place, but people know they can find what they need. We open early because the workers in the area need things before their shifts start. It’s mostly just us and the regulars who stop by for a quick chat while picking up a hammer or some drill bits. The coffee shop next door keeps us going when things get really hectic in the afternoons. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard for delivery trucks to get in, so we end up carrying heavy boxes ourselves. It’s just how we run things. Nothing fancy, just a lot of metal and wood parts stacked up to the ceiling. If you walk past the big gate in Phase 2, you’ll see our sign. It’s a bit faded from the sun but it’s still there. We don't do much online stuff, just face to face. Dealing with the heat in summer is the worst part, but we have a couple of fans going to keep the air moving while we work.
