Lord Productions

Lord Productions is situated at 15, Ashok Lane. This is right on Mandir Marg, which is a pretty well-known part of Delhi. Being so close to Connaught Place means we are basically in the heart of the city, which has its pros and cons. The traffic is usually pretty bad, but it’s convenient for getting around once you’re actually moving. We do production work here. It’s mostly just us handling the technical side of things and making sure stuff gets filmed or recorded right. The lane itself is a bit quieter than the main road, which helps when we’re trying to focus. We’ve been in this Delhi office for a while now. It’s an old building, but it has character and it fits what we do. We aren't fancy people. Most of us wear jeans and t-shirts to work because we’re usually hauling gear around or setting up lights. Mandir Marg is a busy place with a lot of history, and we like being part of that. We spend a lot of our time just troubleshooting things or planning out the next day’s shoot. It’s not like those big studios you see in movies. It’s more of a hands-on, everyday kind of operation. We just get the job done and try to keep things running smoothly for whoever walks through the door at number 15. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but we just deal with it and move on.
