We spend a lot of our time dealing with the heat and making sure the office stays cool enough to work in. It is not like those big glass towers you see in the photos; it is more of a practical setup for the team here. We have a small group of people who keep track of the orders and make sure the schedules are right. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phone lines act up, but we manage to get the work done eventually. It is a lot of spreadsheets and talking to drivers. People come and go from different countries, so there is always a mix of languages in the background while we drink our coffee. We don't really have a big sign out front or anything. Most of our work is done through the phones and the post. It is just a regular job for us at Lafarge Middle East Ltd-Rmq.
