Krishna Kumar Associates

Our office is on the first floor of Hno 57B in Guru Angad Nagar Extension. It is right in Laxmi Nagar Delhi 92 which is a very busy place. If you know Delhi you know how crowded this part can be every single day. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow and steep. Krishna Kumar Associates is basically just a few desks and a lot of files in folders. I have an old computer that takes a few minutes to start up every morning. I usually use that time to clean the dust off my table with a rag. Laxmi Nagar is always loud with traffic. There is always someone honking their horn outside the window. The walls of the office are painted a pale yellow that is starting to peel in the corners. I keep a water cooler near the door for anyone who comes in thirsty. Most of my day is spent reading documents or talking on the mobile phone. We do not have a receptionist sitting at the front. If the bell rings I just get up and open the door myself. My associate sits across from me and we have worked together for a long time. We usually get lunch from the small food shop downstairs. It is nothing fancy but the food is good. Just a place to get some work done. Sometimes the electricity fluctuates and the lights flicker. We just keep going until the work is finished. (257 words)
