Spacematrix Design Consultants

We are located in Ashok Vihar, specifically Phase 1, over at I-A, 17C. New Delhi is a big place, but this neighborhood feels a bit more settled than the city center. Spacematrix Design Consultants is basically just a group of us who like to figure out how spaces should look. We aren't some massive agency with a skyscraper office. It's a pretty normal setup in a regular building. We spend most of our time staring at drawings or talking to contractors on the phone. Sometimes those conversations get a bit loud, but that’s just how it goes when you’re trying to get things built right. It can be stressful, but it’s what we do. The Delhi heat can be tough in the summer, so we’re thankful for the AC in the office. We don't really do the whole marketing thing. Most of our work comes from people who heard about us from someone else. It feels more natural that way. We aren't interested in sounding more important than we are. We're just designers trying to make ends meet and do a decent job for whoever hires us. Sometimes we stay late, sometimes we leave early if the work is done. It’s a bit flexible. We just try to keep the atmosphere easygoing. There are always rolls of paper lying around and pens that have run out of ink. It is just a real place where work happens.
