Arctitects Working Group

Our group works out of a small place in Paschim Vihar, New Delhi. We are located at A-1, 26B in the Janta Flats. If you know Delhi, you know that space is always at a premium, so our office is quite compact and full of stuff. There are drawings and rolls of paper almost everywhere you look. It is a busy residential complex, so there are always neighbors walking by and kids playing in the common areas. We spend a lot of our time hunched over desks or looking at computer screens. It is not a glamorous setup at all, but it works for us. The traffic in Paschim Vihar can be a nightmare, so we are always complaining about how long it took to get in. We drink a lot of tea to keep our energy up throughout the day. We are just a group of people who like to design and plan buildings. Sometimes we have to go out to various construction sites, so the office is empty for half the day. When we are all in, it can get a bit loud with everyone talking at once. We don't have any fancy corporate policies; we just try to get the drawings finished on time. It is a very normal, everyday kind of job in a very busy part of the capital. We have been in these flats for a while and we have a good rhythm going.
