We operate out of shops 17, 18, and 19 in Krishana Market, right here in Kalkaji. It’s a good spot because we are right opposite Deshbandhu College. Because we have three units, we have a bit more room than some of the other shops, but it still feels packed because of all the catering equipment and decor samples we keep on hand. You’ll often see us moving crates or checking on linens right on the sidewalk. Being near the college means there are always students around, which keeps the energy up in the market. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time. People around here know us by name, and we know most of the other shopkeepers too. It’s a busy life, especially during wedding season. The office part of the shop is just a small corner where we keep the ledger and the phone. We don't have a website designer or a marketing person; we just handle things ourselves. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the furniture is definitely worn out, but it works for us. We focus more on the food and the setups we provide for others than on how our own shop looks. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, where everyone pitches in. We stay busy with the local crowd and the college events, just keeping things moving one day at a time.
